Many thanks to the shithead cop who decided to ticket someone in one of the two incoming lanes from the St. Margie’s Bay into the rotary. Because of your sheer fucking stupidity, St. Margie’s was backed up to the Prospect Road. It took an hour to get to the rotary in what should have been a 10-20 minute trip. Thanks for making me late and getting reamed by my boss, you inconsiderate power-crazed fuck. —Frustrated Driver

  1. How hard is it to spell out Margaret?

Also, I’m pretty sure the cop didn’t do this to spite you and ruin your day.

  2. so how would you know it took an hour? if you wern’t back that far. you saw the cop, so you must have been pretty close. overkill in a bitch, is a bitch itself. makes it hard to believe one word you said after reading it.

  3. I was in that mess this morning too … took me 20 minutes to make it to the rotary when this is normally only a few minutes of my commute. The cause of the traffic slow down wasn’t evident until reaching the rotary. It sucked, but shit happens.

  4. Is THAT what it was !!!! It took me FORTY minutes to get from the 103 to Quinpool and I was 30 minutes late for a meeting!!! Really??? A ticket.

Now I’m furious allllll over again.

  5. Sounds like your boss is a douche, I mean unless you show up late all the time your boss should just relax

  6. Could have been a ticket or a broken down car … I didn’t rubberneck to try to figure out which it was … just kept going to get my late ass to the office.

  7. I’m with you OP. The cops could have probably found a better place to pull over but I’m of the opinion that they don’t even give close to .01% of a shit.

  8. It was all gone by the time I went by.

And Sebastian – by the time you get to a place on the Bay Rd where you can detour you might as well just wait.

  9. Sorry to burst your bubble OP but the cop didn’t decide where he was going to pull over. The dick who was breaking the law chose where to pull over. The dick who pulled over right before the round-about caused your grief, not the cop who DOING HIS JOB!

  10. A Bingo for Snipe. Also none of you know the reason why the stop was made and neither do I. It could have been for a ticket, it could have been due to a warrant or any number of things.

And of course the other bitch would be where the fuck are the cops because that asshole is driving like an idiot.

  11. All traffic infractions should be processed in a safe marshaling area. Whenever the driver is too dumb to find a side street or parking lot, the officer should levy an additional fine on the driver.

  12. Furthermore, anytime a driver is pulled over in a location where there is no safe marshalling area, ie a bridge or rotary, or just a narrow road. the fines should double. Drivers have no business taking unecessary risks in such area, plus I might have some satifaction in knowing that the traffic jam is costing them more money.

Additionally, all accidents that cause traffic jams should be double the fines for both drivers.

If it is a 17 year old with his subwoofers blaring loud obnoxious music, a public beating performed by girl guides with sacks filled with last year’s cookies should be administered.

  13. It’s the ROUNDABOUT not the fucking Rotary, didn’t we fork over $$ to have it made into a ROUNDABOUT?

  14. you could call it the magic merry go round, drivers still wouldn’t get the concept

  15. Oh FFS Brotim, cops, when they have you pulled over have the option of telling the driver to move to a safer place. I spent 45 mins at the Windsor St exchange waiting because some dick cop had someone pulled over on lady Hammond, forcing 2 lanes of traffic to merge 10 feet past the light. How does someone (dumbass cop) justify that safety hazard? Cops have the responsibility to every other driver on the road to not impede traffic needlessly (and pulling someone over in a rotary during rush hour would qualify as needless), and conduct themselves in a safe and prudent manner.

  16. IMO,it is assinine to have a ‘traffic expert’ police officer that doesn’t have the sense to tell the driver pull into that area. We are holding up traffic, and I don’t enjoy turning my back to a traffic jam.”

  17. brother timothy, could the police get the license number and issue a ticket without stopping the driver?

  18. Again, I will write slowly. No one here knows the reason why this particular driver was stopped at this location. There may have been a legitimate reason for the vehicle not to be moved, I do not know. Yes, if the conditions merit, the officer could tell the person to go in a parking lot or some other safe area. I’m sure you’ve seen vehicles with the police behind them in parking lots of malls, etc. If the driver is suspected of impaired driving then the vehicle is staying until it is moved by a sober driver or towed. Unless an officer is dispatched to a priority call, then letting a driver go without stopping is a dereliction of duty.

  19. that driver was probably drunk or speeding or driving recklessly….good thing he got pulled over and didn’t kill a family of 6 in a minivan
