I waited on the phone 15 mins to be hung up on, and then call back and wait another 15 mins to have some cranky old bitch answer the phone and talk to me like I’m an idiot when all I wanted was to add on 1 channel, which ends up NOT EVEN WORKING!! Thanks sweetie you made my day!! Just because your job sucks… don’t take it out on me!

With digital cable you can order some channels individually (not the movie channels though) for $3.
Never knew you could just order one channel.

I think this is a valid bitch. I have yet to speak to anybody at a “certain cable company” and not be met with condescending tone. What they need is a ripe, healthy dose of COMPETITION… or a call centre in SK where all the friendly Canadians live.
I broke down and got full cable last year so I could watch Californication only to find out that it was switched to another channel and a full tier or two higher in the pricelist. I now have rabbit ears and watch the whole season for free thanks to my pornbox, plus found other shows to watch, for free. Fuck you cable companies!

Doesn’t everyone ‘obtain’ their TV shows from the internet these days? Who still pays for cable? That’s outdated technology.
I have aliant digital and I LOOOOVE it, and I’ve only ever once had an issue with someone snotty — for the most part they’ve been very friendly.
Problem with the “other” cable company is, they’re good at getting customers, but shitty at retaining them. I find aliant does a decent job at keeping me as a happy customer.
PK – ditto. I find them to be really helpful and sometimes they actually go out of their way to help you out. The other guys, well, I’ve had to wait around for them all day only to hear at 5 o’clock they weren’t coming. They forgot to print my service ticket or some bullshit like that. Bastards.
wait for time you call a call centre and you can’t even understand what the fuck thier saying because they aren’t even speaking english – then ask for the supervisior and she speak a bare minimum of english – you think you have it bad – call revenue canada and have a pile of immigrants answering the phone without english skills fucking up everything and making your tax year even more fucked up – it takes months to striaghten out what these dumb fucks fuck up . Not saying nothing ’bout the boat people – just saying learn fuckin english before you take a fuckin service job – its even worst in alberta
