James G. Davis’ The Electric Eel is one of the pieces on display

Opening to the public on November 4, Studio 21 Fine Art‘s 20/21 Vision exhibit has taken up NSCAD‘s cause. For the run of the exhibition, twenty per cent of the purchase price of any artwork sold will be donated to NSCAD University’s Studio 21 Aspiring Artist Fund, a fund which provides scholarships to promising students.

“The exhibition is a chance for the gallery and the community to recognize and support talented young artists.,” says Ineke Graham, founder and co-director of Studio 21 Fine Art. “They may be the next generation of nationally celebrated artists. The scholarship award will enable them to pursue their dreams.”

20/21 Vision runs until December 1 and will include over 75 paintings, drawings, and sculptures by 33 nationally and internationally acclaimed artists. They can be seen in the online catalogue at www.studio21.ca now.
