To the couple at a certain pub during trivia night, if you don’t like the food, then don’t eat it! You don’t need to go on and on and on about how terrible the food was, loud enough for half the restaurant to hear. You were an embarrassment to your friends, and if you hate the food that much you should just stay home. —Feeling Sorry for Your Friends

uheh.. yeah. It’s sort of irritating. When you’re really hungry and someone brings you shitty food, it’s a huge letdown. More of a letdown because you probably won’t be interested in ordering anything else off the menu. And if you’re with a group of friends, it’s not like you can get up and leave and go eat somewhere else.
But still.. dignity’s good too.
“Huge letdown” … nah Iso_k. When you’re hungry anything tastes like gold. They were obviously not hungry, but idle. Idle and stupid.
Yeh, well, despite what Bill Cosby says, the food does suck.
I’ve experienced the same atrocious food that they bitched about… however, it’s pub food… what do you expect?
OP, they could always feed it to the nearest obese person. Fat people never reject free food.
That’s why you don’t get pub food. Or if you do then understand that they make food for drunk people that don’t care. Food is secondary to their main money maker so there’s no point bitching about it.
Trivia night? Complaining about pub food? Fuck, the other day someone mentioned karaoke – A&W – Walmart – geezuz, you folks need to get active and up your social game……but then you may end up at my haunts and that would probably make me as uncool as you……so, please do not follow me about the city.
yeah o.p., i agree there, if you won’t like it, or even if you don’t, keep quiet, and let the rest of us eat our gruel. the worst place to go is m.dees, the kids are loud, disgusting, ignorant and the parents are just as bad.
i was to the keg one night quite awhile back and i would swear that every second person that came in, was the one o.p.refers to. that’s a major reason why i hate to eat out. there are some terrible places in this town.
well, you have to admit…..it was pretty terrible food.

LMFAO, especially the waitrons’ responses.
FYI – confronting cheap tippers is not always a good idea

haha, i knew that’s what it was gonna be. love that scene
This is exactly why I’ve decided to stop eating out. It’s hard to meet both sides’ expectations when it comes to getting quality food and paying for it. There’s too much social bullshit that goes along with it. I personally think tipping shouldn’t even exist. The wages should be included in the price of the meal. I got tired of feeling bad and paying out my arse for people to make me food so now I just make my own. It’s way better in terms of quality and price.
