Ditto. Even though they’re ads for Pepsi, I really enjoy the bright pink, blue, green and yellow buses driving through the city. Halifax Joyride indeed!
Thank you Pepsi for the largescale advertising. The buses actually look great, likely because they’re so simple.
You can’t see out of the window…it’s like sitting in a god damn cave. Hate them.
I can see out of the window just fine.
I can, too. It’s tougher at night, but I’ve noticed they put the ad-covered buses away at night time. Is it just me?
I was on the pink one yesterday and the driver was so ecstatic to be driving such a fun bus, he kept saying, “Do you like my bus?” Cute.
They are really nice buses to be on, so bright and cheery. I also like the ones with the fruit on them.
Heathro, you’re partially on to something. A few of our buses that are wrapped run out of our smaller garage, which may have 6-7 buses at most out at night (and none on the weekend), so you likely won’t see them as often. The Pepsi and Mint buses run out of the main one, so you could see them anytime.
As for vision, yes they obscure sight to a degree, but it’s not so bad in the summer, and they have a nice “different” look to them. In the winter, even though they are cleaned nightly, the salt grime makes it near impossible to see from the inside.
It’s so great to have insider Metro Transit information. Thanks PDG!
