I was wanting to know what the fuck is changing with metro transit.
Saw the sign saying routes are being renamed or altered….
and the website doesn’t really give much info into what has changed.
it has the new riders guide for Aug 2011 but doesn’t list the differences or alternate roads taken.
so…. WTF is up with Metro Transit?
A lot of the blue signs are informing of service changes — such as the #2 and #4 and #21 are becoming ALF routes. The #34 is being re routed and will commence at the corner of Kearney Lake Rd and Parkland and will cut service to Blue Thistle. The #84 and #86 are also being converted into express routes with limited stops downtown, similar to the express routes in the #30s from clayton park/cowie hill.
Some routes are just being renamed, but will keep the same service. I believe, for example, the #88 Duke is being changed to the #88 Bedford Commons.
Dude, don’t ASK me how I know all this shit. I just seems to… come to me. Also: photographic memory FTW.
