Shit, I have to deal with this every fucking day at my job. Somebody get me a fork so I can stab myself in the eyeballs.
what is it about orange girls and lulu lemon?
It’s like a moth to a flame.
A big, tangerine tinted moth…
OKAY
LULU lemon is TO DAMN pricey
and by the way not all girls are like this I do NOT tan, I do not shop at lulu lemon christ I havent ever been in that store. Although I do wear the big sunglasses and always have
Orange tans, platinum hair, fake nails, all that crap I don’t care for. But what’s wrong with big sunglasses? They are the only type of sunglasses that effectively shade your eyes from the sun. Smaller lenses on sunglasses are stupid and defeat the purpose of being sunglasses… not to mention they make your head look too big. They’re like fake pockets on pants… they don’t do shit.
Also Big shades are great for putting over your normal glasses…Yep i am that nerdy
jealous much?
My tan is authentic and hair is dark. Dino, do you serve donairs or something where you work? I’ll stop in and show you a real tan but I may snap my gum and say “like” a lot though.
I bet you are real original yourself OP.
They are called “trends” ..you are aware of the concept? Hollywood and the media dictates, the masses run. Get over it.
I’m the same with the glasses, I love giant frames. They’re amazing because they’re so huge. I also drink lattes, but am none of the rest. Stop picking on big sunglasses.
I fail because I definitely had to look up lulu lemon, anyhow. Big sunglasses rock!
I hate make-up, I can’t stand vaccuous idiots and I despise fake tans (esp in the winter). Lattes are ok and I can tolerate big sunglasses, but god bless Lululemmon pants!!
I only wear minimal brown eyeliner and that is strictly all, and the sunglasses I own are a pair of sweet zebra striped shades from Delias.
I love makeup and big sunglasses. I love being pale. And I only wear lululemon shorts to yoga or the gym.
Dino Jr: Good for you! More girls need to put down the make-up/war paint bag and be comfortable with who they are. Make-up is one of the most ridiculous inventions of all time and should be done away with. Also, Zebra shades kick ass!!
Thanks NW! 🙂
are you trying to see all your peeps out there with those sunglasses? I’m just waiting for you to hit the impaler and get the 3 count.
Ok, I’m going to make a confession- I wear Lululemon’s. I undertsand the negative association but in and of themselves, I like them. I don’t visit the tanning beds or use fake tan, I don’t wear the large sunglasses, I don’t pack my face with makeup and I’m not blonde. But I have two pairs and I wear them when I want to be cozy and cmfortable- they’re nice quality and the cuts are really flattering- alot better than a pair of saggy-assed, dirty-looking grey sweatpants. Atleast I can run out to the grocery store out feeling comfortable while looking a little nicer looking than if I wore my pj’s and a slouchy old pair of Uggs!
Why do people have to hate on makeup? When applied properly it doesn’t look like you are wearing a lot. There is nothing wrong with makeup. Never Wrong I think you just do not understand.
Neverwrong, you and I see eye to eye on this point… fuck’em if they gotta problem with my unglossed lips or notice an imperfection in my skin. Wearing makeup is people-pleasing behavior when it’s not ego-boosting behavior. I’m not going to argue a girl ought to do what’s required to make her feel good about herself but make-up is superficial. Beauty is on the inside… how’s that for an ego booster?
LadyS: I understand make-up very well thank you. I used to date an esthetician/make-up artist. I just think it’s totally ridiculous and unneccesary. Let me put it this way: make-up is a lie, plain and simple. If you went out on a date with a guy and he told you he was a lawyer who made $100,000 a year, but it turned he was really only a paralegal making $50,000 a year, wouldn’t you feel like you’ve been lied to? That’s what make-up is, an exaggeration of the truth. When the make-up goes on, that isn’t what you really look like. It’s the same as my example above. And before anyone harps on me about “it’s whats inside that counts”, you’re really only helping me make my point. If you can “lie” about what you look like, then he can lie about what he does, because it’s what’s on the inside that counts. I think women should be confident and comfortable with who they are and get rid of the make-up. The idea that you need to look like the women you see in Cosmo and other shite magazines like that is ludicris. Be who you are and be happy with yourself.
It’s never been worth it to me to get up earlier in the morning to put on makeup. Sleep is so much better of an option. That’s why I don’t dry my hair either.
Haha, oh noes, I opened a can of worms on this one eh?
I LOVE make up!
I do not look like a clown or anything its all in moderation!
Also I find for the men who say they hate make up after relising what no make up looks like they like natural looking make up 🙂
JD: I am well aware of what no make-up looks like and I prefer it. I think it’s the tiny little imperfections and subtle changes in skin tones that make a woman’s face. Covering it all up with make-up is silly and quite frankly ridiculous. I know some girls who can’t leave the house without spending 20min on their make-up, just to go half a block to the store to buy a pack of smokes.
“make-up is a lie” LOVE that! But the “lie” is that a woman is constantly aroused… her eyes made dark as if her pupils are dilated… her lips and cheeks made red as if she’s aroused. Throw in some high heels to point her toes and tighten her ass and, voila… she’s a peacock “looking” to get laid. What I don’t understand is if we throw a nice jacket with wide (masculine looking) shoulders is she suddenly not “creating the look of arousal” but “power dressing”. It’s fucked up. I don’t wear the shit (but I have a few of those jackets).
The man who invented is a genius. Except the sizes should stop at 10 at the minimum!!!!
First of all, I like women with little to no makeup BUT… how is wearing make-up any different from changing clothes or jewelery? Make up is an accessory, not a lie.
Some days I dress in jeans and a T-shirt and some days it’s a suit and tie. I don’t change on the inside, but what I convey through my clothing changes the initial impression I am making to the world. Same goes with hygiene. If I keep my hair trimmed and nails done, that says I care about my appearance and myself. If my hair is unkempt and nails are chewed of to the quick that also makes a statement.
To me, make up is no different. It’s just another way for women to make statements about themselves. Too much make-up translates into being superficial, too little often means “I don’t care”. But a little bit of make-up usually says “I care about my appearance and myself”. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
Wearing make up is great!
You can change your appearance or just enhace your natural beauty.
there are girls from halifax and other places that do that cunty shit too, so stop blaming it all on toronto. you sound so threatened and defensive. get a fucking life. those girls can be annoying but theres just as many annoying broads that all dress the same, act the same and drink the same shit that are from nova scotia. those sheep are just as obnoxious. calm yer fukkin horses about toronto. dont worry noone will expect you to move there or “keep up”, we know, you just find it “too fast paced”.
its possible it is to fast paced I have never been so….. I dont know we live in a small town not a big city
