As a female, I have NEVER resorted to plucking my brows. I was born with perfect ones.

What we need is a diagram of brow hairiness to better illustrate this problem. Perhaps a graph as well to demonstrate how the amount and position of hairs directly corresponds to the overall hotness of the person sporting them.
You see, here we have two extremes. The infamous unibrow versus the ultra thin brow. I think we can all agree that there is a happy medium between these two disaster zones that can be achieved by pluckage in moderation.
However I would argue that there is another ‘problem brow’ currently disrupting society. I’ll call it the continental drift brow, caused by focused plucking in the medial region of both eyebrows resulting in a “drift” apart and of course eventual fuglyness.
The real question we should be posing here is where on the aforementioned chart does the continental drift brow lie so that future generations can learn how to effectively avoid this abomination at all costs.

I cut mine when I was little and they’ve been fucked up ever since so I get mine waxed/trimmed once a month (and pluck stray hairs in between visits)…that’s the ONLY way to go. Most people who do their own eyebrows end up fucking it up — either too thin or raise their eyebrows when they’re attempting to “shape” them and end up with oddly shaped eyebrows when they relax their face.
An eyebrow wax costs like 17 bucks incl taxes/tip — not like it’s exactly gonna break anyone’s bank. So if you aren’t like Dino (damn you, dino! lol) put the tweezers down and get your fucking eyebrows waxed if you have to do something with them.
The OP is totally right. Those super thin, plucked eyebrows make a womans face look like The Joker from Batman. Its unnatural, hard looking, and above all, cheap looking too. It automatically cheapens any look. The worst is when girls don’t just pluck them thin, but when they totally eradicate any traces of eyebrow from their face, and then think they’re fooling the world when they pencil that shit in.

I like seeing the girls that fuck em up, and then have to get rid of them all, because they would look terrible if they left them alone. That must be a hard lesson for them to learn. The OP is right, leave your eyebrows alone. They’re a sideshow to the main attraction.

My favorites are the ones that fuck them up, wind up shaving them off, and penciling them in with a black sharpened eyeliner. Complete with eye makeup, they just end up looking like an Egyptian pharoah or something.

I have naturally full eyebrows. Nothing at all like a uni-brow, but i do pluck around the edges to clean them up a little bit. The key here is to not go overboard with it. A lot of girls pluck too much on one brow, and then by trying to even out the two, end up completely hacking the shit out of both of them. A tip for the ladies who do thier own plucking: Stick with your natural curve and tweak it just a bit. You don’t want to end up looking surprised all of the time.
I know a girl who (intentionally) shaves her entire eyebrows completely off, and then draws them back on with a sharpie every day. Imagine waking up next to THAT every morning? Fucking nasty.
A sharpie WOW I would have a hard time focusing on anything else when talking to her.

My eyebrows are too blonde, they’re basically invisible. I used to get really sunburned as a child, and you could see them really nice and white against the red face, I was such a popular kid.

Haha, funny you mention that, More. I since i’ve had my fringe i’ve been much lazier with tweezing. My bangs are just long enough to cover my eyebrows, so i could probably get away with letting them go all apeshit.
JMO: It was really hard for me to look at anything BUT those ridiculous drawn-on brows when talking to sharpie girl. She was a friend of my brother’s, so i didn’t really need to socialize with her more than a few times…which was a good thing, because she was a total fucking moron anyway.
You should really get them threaded vs waxing… Waxing will cause your eyebrows to sag…

I hate a sperm brow! Or the barely there brow. When tweezing your brows you should take your makeup put it up to the side of your nose vertically and not pluck past it. Also never ever pluck above the brow. Full brows are beautiful!

I think someone should tell the girls no matter how hard they try their faces are simply not perfectly symmetrical. One ear will always be a little lower than the other and, for eyebrows, the same. They should also be told to pluck the minimum. Eventually those hairs that get plucked over and over again will stop growing (er, grow so slow you need to pluck maybe once a year).
