To the gentleman who bitched at me after I accidentally blocked him from making a right hand turn off of SGR, you need to relax. Here is the situation, I was heading up SGR and as I was approaching an intersection without traffic lights a car turning right onto SGR pulled out in front of me, forcing me to stop abruptly and block the intersection while traffic wasn’t moving. Meanwhile, this friendly driver asked me to roll down my window so they could tell me how far my head was up my ass. I apologized and told them the reason that I was stopped there was because of said other vehicle in front of me, but I don’t think they heard a word of it and continued to bitch at me. Like 99% of drivers I am courteous to other people, and once in a while I will make a mistake, but I guess this other fellow does not make any. Oh well, I told him to have a nice day as we parted ways but I think he chose not to hear that either. —Courteous Driver

  1. wasn’t me o.p., all the body parts are still where they should be, thank fuck for that. or the rental place would have a conniption fit,, if i wrecked their caddy escalade.

  2. I hear ya OP
The other day….I was coming down Cornwallis and buddy and his wife were coming up from the dockyard and we met at the set of lights connecting to Barrington. Both of us wanted to turn the same way ( I wanted to turn left and he wanted to turn right) Barrington Street is two lanes and we should both be able to make the turn if we stay in the correct lanes.

Flipping me the bird only made me blow you a kiss, big smile and a wave. lol

Well apparently in his 30+ years of driving he has not learned how to turn properly.

  3. ywasn’t me o.p., all the body parts are still in place. the rental place would have a conniption fit if i wrecked the caddy escalade i’m using.

  4. what the fuck is going on here, i had to repost, because the first didn’t show up, and now this shit.

  5. Yeah but too many people block intersections or parking lot exits so people can’t get out or cross the lane to turn left. In other words drive in such a way as not to BLOCK INTERSECTIONS/EXITS.

  6. Now, I can’t be totally sure if this is true or not. I mean, it seems really unlikely just considering what kind of world we live in, but I would like to thank you for remaining calm and polite while this person chewed you out.
Whenever I see something like this happen and the person being yelled at starts cursing and yelling back, I hate them just as much as I hate the person who started it.
    Good job, OP!

  7. Why even bother rolling down your window OP? Enjoy the A/C, ignore those morons in the other cars, and drive along. Run over a bike while you’re at it.

  8. sebastian I used to hate on the people who called you out constantly for your lifestyle but you’re an asshole and deserve everything you get and then some, choke on it fuck head

  9. I have a special bit of pent up rage for morons who block intersections… sometimes I worry that my head will pop off in anger and frustration over oblivitrons who are just unacceptably annoying!

  10. Rolling down your window was your first mistake. Unless he’s holding a bottle of Grey Poupon, it’s not worth it.

  11. Idiots who block intersections are just that, idiotis. Bu-bu-bu-but it was the other cars fault cus they turned and blocked me. Hell I’m sure the other driver who blocked you thought the same thing, it wasn’t their fault because THEY were blocked too. How about you have some fucking common courtesy and use some judgement in the situation as to avoid, or be pro-active, about possibly blocking the intersection.

If there is a reasonable chance that you may block the intersection, be it because traffick is moving slow, you see others in your route driving like morons, or a potential oblivatron turner, how about you just wait 30 fucking seconds for the next light and proceed when everything is clear. Let’s be honest, you got stuck there because you were the last car to go through the intersection at the end of a light and thought you were going to make it, you didnt’t and it pissed someone off, deal with it.
