I don’t think we know the whole story here. What led up to this? Was it a random act of idiocy or was the “victim” also being an asswipe?

I agree, I doubt we are getting the whole story. I am not hearing “and then the busdriver stopped the bus after calling authorities, and the offender was escorted off the bus”..sort of thing. Gonna need more details before I start a rant.

If you really want to lay charges, there was probably a camera recording the run. If you were on an older bus, you might be SOL on this one so either way, just add an egg, some butter, and water, then frost your husband’s head accordingly

Seldom do vicious cake mix attacks begin unprovoked, I too would like to hear more of the story.
The only way I can see this happening unprovoked is if this was one of the buses with the raised seating in the back. If the OP was sitting on the lower seats and some numpties were sitting above them, I can see some idiot doing it on a dare or a prank.
I don’t really understand the inability to conceive of this being an unprovoked assault. Sometimes people just do stupid shit, because they’re mentally ill or because they’re trying to impress their friends. It could happen to anyone.
I’d be giving them a “whipping” of their own.
