Big ‘thank you’s to my lovely neighbours who helped me dig out last week AND this week, even after tackling their own huge driveway ice boulders and frozen cars–you guys are the best! I was able to get my icy driveway cleared and car primed for work thanks to your awesomeness!! Special thanks also to the Unknown Shoveler who cleared away the crazy ice boulders from my driveway today (Sunday)–whoever you are you made my day so much easier, so much nicer. I hope the evening finds you all cozy and warm, and that your week is even sweeter. —Shesang

Nice Love. This extreme weather can bring out a sense of community among people. It can be difficult and time-consuming to deal with the snow and particularly the ice you Haligonians got. We were spared the ice but got mountains of snow here in the Valley.
the weather really can bring out the niceness in so many people!
I think Halifax should erect a “Tomb of the Unknown Shoveller” when this winter is over.
Hey Guys 🙂 I have fantastic neighbours and they are kind all year round–I love living in the North End…….and yeah, a “Tomb of the Unknown Shoveler” sounds like a way more than apt idea after this crazy winter 😀
