BP!: I doubt it, but here’s hoping. She drove off from not one, but two accidents, so she’ll lose her license at the very least. And if she has a history of this type of offense or DUIs, she very well may go to jail. It happened right outside the tolls on the McKay bridge, so it will be on camera, showing that it was entirely her fault in both cases. We also have a witness that saw the accident and saw her refuse to stop once we got to the other side of the bridge where it was a reasonable place to stop.
TBAC: I posted this last night when I got home and the reason I am waiting until today is I have to go to the police station and file a report in person, because it’s classified as a felony offense. I have to go downtown today anyway, so I’ll file while I’m down there. The other guy has already filed his report and told them I was coming in today to file mine. They told him to give me his case number and that when I go in to file my report, I should give them that number and they will link our files.

PK: She knows she hit me and she knows she hit the other guy too. After we pulled over, the guy who saw it all stopped to give his business card to the guy in the truck and she was right behind him. The guy in the truck said to her “Pull over, you hit me” and she said “No, you hit me” and then drove off. Her passenger side mirror was hanging off, so if she really thought that he hit her, she would have stopped. I garuntee she was DUI and didn’t want to get nailed for it. As for her sentence, it’s a felony offense, so she’ll get more than a slap on the wrist. She drove away from 2 accidents she caused, so hopefully she’ll get her license taken away permanently. Although I get the distinct feeling that it wouldn’t stop her from driving.
DrF: Thanks, but I won’t get anything out of this. She only scrathed and slighlty cracked my bumper and left some of her paint on it. My car is a ’95, so it has a zero cosmetic value rating with my insurance company. All I can hope for is a possible civil suit against her. And as for the process, I am a very patient man.

So I filed my police report today… Not gonna make a lick of fucking difference!!!! The bitch came in and filed her information this morning, so basically it’s no longer a hit and run, despite the fact that she hit and ran, twice!!! She only filed information about hitting the other guy though, so mine might possibly still get classified as a hit and run. Essentially, she could have been drunk off her ass, hit me, hit him, drove off, come in this morning to file her info and gets off scot free!! What it will probably come down to is everyone is responsible to the damages to their own vehcile. So if you guys ever hit someone, just drive off, then go report it at the police station later and you’ll get off with not so much as even a slap on the wrist!
