I go 105-110km/h when I have to (i know..Dale Earnhardt here) , but please stop riding on my A** AND with your high beams on . Just because you have to wait a few minutes until you can go in the other lane and pass me..have some courtesy…and keep a safe distance away from my car. I will slow my speed down and let you in when you do decide to pass…im not a B*tch like that. But It drives me crazy that people think they have a right to play bumper cars with you.

The 101 is quite a nasty little stretch of road, isn’t it?
Driving it going outbound from Hfx is awful at night. I did that commute for a bit and so did my dad (for 15 years), and never again.
yeah, I can’t wait until they twin the shit outta that stretch.
I think they recently opened up a new twin section not long ago (the lines were still double-solid yellow though it was one-way traffic) so they are making a little progress… just about as quickly as city hall with the traffic congestion, unfortunately.
That is a nasty road but what drivers must understand that the inside lane is for passing not driving the hole way home in. Keep right except to pass. If the guy behind you is going faster then you have enough common sense to move over to the proper lane. I am not condeming tail gating at all…but it sure if frustrating when the person in the passing lane isn’t passing but holding up others
“Keep right except to pass.” is what the signs say. “Move your hand, flick your signal, and get your lazy, unthinking ass the fuck out of my way.”, is what goes through my mind when I’m waiting to pass, (usually some self righteous soccer Mom who’s driving a minivan w/ one kid in it…), slower than the traffic stream, in the fast lane. Seriously now, fast lane left, slow lane right, easy-peasy. If you think they’re playing bumper cars, maybe you are just in their way.
.I do drive in the right lane…and I am talking about when it is down to one lane…
And i dont drive a mini van. 😉
I said nothing about driving in the left lane in my bitch..just inconciderate people who cant wait untill the highway divides again to pass.
