I am so sick of the Liberal party pretending that they are the alternative to Harper. They voted for his budgets without negotiating for positive things for Canadians. That is the point of a minority government—negotiation. So thanks for nothing to the 2 big parties for agreeing that women should not make as much as men, for allowing the government to begin privatizing nuclear power and ensuring that more of our brave soldiers are harmed in Afghanistan. I am hoping for something better and am going to vote for real change. —Power Should be Used for Good

All parties who achieve power are basically the same – self-serving and greedy – don’t think for a moment that the NDP or the Green would be any better – one glance at that golden trough and their brains do a collective reset. I’ve seen this happen way too many times – the current provincial NDPers are the latest example of a government squeezing every last penny out of we overburdened taxpayers who reside in one of, if not, the poorest province of the Canada.
I have to take exception to your comments TTFN. The NDP (nationally and provincially) are the only party with the courage to stand up for and defend society’s weakest and most vulnerable members. Academics and public sector trade unions.
