This bitch is for the line of people that got on the 80 last night. There was a young couple with a stroller that were attempting to exit the bus, but because you were all a bunch of damn arseholes and couldn’t wait 30 seconds for them to get off, of course it was a tight squeeze getting on the bus. They even apologized to you as you all rammed your way through, giving them dirty looks. It wasn’t just one or two people either, there was like 5 of you! Is inconsideration contagious, or are we just lucky enough to see that large a group of rude douchebags gathering in one spot? —Transit Bandit

  1. People doing this really grinds my gears, and it’s one of the few times I’ll lose my cool if there’s a stroller/senior involved. Yes, the back door exists, but it’s not an “official” policy to exit the back door, so if they want to use the front they can. And when they do, exiting passengers have right of way. Period.

  2. OK I need your input, based on a sentence in this bitch, please give me your suggestions for a word to describe ‘large a group of rude douchebags ‘

A diaper of douchebags, as an example.

  3. I am amazed at the number of premature bus boarders in HRM PDG. Having taken public transit in many other fine Canadian cities, I noticed that those drivers immediately direct the premature boarders with an authorative announcement about standing to the side while riders are exiting the bus, given as soon as they open the doors. Is this not standard practice at MT too? Just wondering.

  4. Sheeple.
I don’t care who hates the term, it fits & many poople fit it to a T.

(poople was not a spelling mistake !)
Its another new word, & for describing shitheads.

  5. well there you have it o.p., you answered your own question. what do you really expect from the hurry, hurry fast paced, oh so important am i bus riders? too many in too much of a hurry. they should slow the fuck down, and take a breath, or they will be dead soon. then just think of all those nice empty seats awaiting.

  6. Like many policies OC, some drivers enforce it more than others. If I put my hand up and you continue to walk onto the bus, you will get an earful from me about manners or something. If you apologize to the exiting passenger, all is forgiven though.

  7. LOL. Maybe they should have used protection in the first place. The stories of those loser cruiser buses never fail to amuse me.
