I have watched you for a few years kill small and young trees with your careless use of the motorized string trimmers. These fucking tools severely damage the barks of young trees and eventually lead to their death. If the purpose of trimming is to beautify the city, you are doing a terrible job. I do not just blame you but also blame the city and the companies that hire you for not knowing how to protect the trees and for not telling you not to use the trimmers around the barks of trees. The city spends a lot of time and tax money on planting these trees just to have them damaged and killed by senseless and careless use of trimmers. Stay the fuck away from the barks when you use trimmers and the next time you are walking around the city, take some time to look at some of the young trees and see for yourself the damage caused every year by using trimmers around them. I hope you and the city do things differently this year. —Scratching Head

nice pics Ivan.
The Trimmer Stalker is watching you.
Phhhht – male pattern baldness beat him to the punch.
i’ve watched those pillocks work, if it’s on the ground it’s fair game http://redriverpak.files.wordpress.com/201…
Our city spends a lot of time and money on the trees, then farms out the maintenance contract to the lowest bidder. You can’t tell me THOSE poor saps make $19/hr.
Guyute is correct. The bureaucrats never look at the quality of the work they’re hiring, only the cost.
Most of the companies that get these contracts work on volume, not quality, and have poorly trained, unregulated staff who are worked too long for too little. They don’t care how the job gets done, so long as they can say it’s done and bill for it.
I own a landscaping company and speak from experience. Though I work outside HRM, same principles still apply.
what can i say? hug a tree, suck a dog’s cock.
Holy fuck, it’s the end of the world. Is that you Lizzie?
three, i also used to ru and own a landscape co., yes, we do what we have to. but we are also smart enough to know the difference between weeds and shrubs.
i see this too, in other places, so not only hrm. remember terranova landscapers, that were i.
This work does not make sense. Is trimming the grass around the bark supposed to help the tree? Just leave the grass alone around the bark if you are going to kill the tree trimming it. A little of common sense goes a long way. The city should tell these workers to not use trimmers around barks.
i like the little grass barriers that grow around our trees
And with Spring, out come the Granolas from the ground like Junebugs. As long as the grass is green and cared for, fuck the saplings.
