Yesterday afternoon, it was gorgeous in DT Halifax so I wanted to share some love. I purchased a little red bucket, I filled it with candy, and tried to give it to strangers. Not too many people took me up on my offer, but to those who did… HOORAY FOR YOU! I wasn’t soliciting anything, I wasn’t asking for anything, I was just trying to show some love. I walked from Duke St. to Quinpool Rd. Even though there were not many takers, I WILL DO THIS AGAIN! So if a crazy girl offers you candy, smile and say thanks! —Girl with The Red Bucket

  1. I would except one and say thank you but probably throw it away – I was always taught to not take candy from strangers. (No I wasn’t allowed out for Halloween Z…piss off) 🙂

  2. that’s a shame RC…
    did your parents at least have a costume party so that people could dress up and get slosh….. er….. have fun and play monopoly?

  3. An alter ego where he actually yacks his face off during summits? heehee.

  5. He’s just so sweet and cute and quiet and you just want to squeeze his little cheeks.

    Adorable++

  6. I’m screwing with you Z – I don’t take candy from strangers because I’ve watched too much crime TV and I’m paranoid about germs. My parents let me go out for Halloween – but they did check my candy before I ate it.

  7. I always stayed in at the ‘rents Halloween party…
    made the mistake of kissing my monopoly money when I dressed up as the devil (foreshadowing???) and now I have a unique set where there’s tons of red ones….
