On the road because there isn’t a sidewalk! OK I am a driver, a pedestrian, and a bus commuter. I live in a place where there are NO SIDEWALKS on our main road and I am forced to walk on the shoulder of the road. I have become accustomed to this daily trek but what I will never get used to is the jerks honking and yelling at me out their windows to get off the effing road as they whiz past me! Where do they expect me to walk? It’s not like I’m walking down the yellow lines in the middle, I’m off on the shoulder where no sidewalk exists! —Just Want To Feel Safe Walking

true seb, did you know that they origionally put hood ornaments on cars for women drivers.seriously, ford started the trend in the early 30’s, to give women something to focus on, when driving. it was reccommeded, then, that they use the edge of the road to,”sight in”.
Try the Prospect Road sometime – the drivers don’t have hood ornaments, they have fucking telescopic sights mounted on their hood and if you’re walking on the side of the road, you’re in their crosshairs, sucka.

Most drivers in this town are fucking assholes…. that’s the plain truth… it takes all my energy to not drag a least one cocksucker from his car and repeatedly smash his stupid head in his door every morning on the way to work… your complaint is one of thousands of incidents everyday… i am fucking enraged by it… just goes to show you that if you are one of these pukes that drives like a fuck stick, then you are hated and ruining other peoples days.. you know who you are and you suck… i hate you… one day somebody is going to see a guy getting his head pounded in by the door of his car at the bottom of magazine hill and it’s going to be doing the pounding… maybe tomorrow….

I LOVE LIVING IN THE STICKS…#7 hwy area…I come from living in DT Halifax, to settling down out here…in the city I was used to getting hollered at or honked at, and sometimes I probably deserved it, but when there really is NO SIDEWALKS…are these drivers seriously effing morons?? Not like my choice is to walk past cars whizzing by me at 70 clicks (posted speed limit)…but pretty sure I have the right to leave the house by any modes of transportation deemed by me to suit my mood for the day!! My car, the bus, my bicycle, by motorcycle, by boat, and yes by FOOT!!
