For the record when you missed your bus on Friday I really wanted to pull over and give you a drive but that is not the type of relationship we have. Ours is more of an ‘avoid eye contact and all communication’ type of relationship but at least there is plenty of room for growth. I’ll offer you some free counsel and strongly advise against showing up out of the blue and offering a ride to someone with whom you have had no past communication. That someone who may actually be avoiding eye contact due to a current relationship or even a simple lack of interest in meeting you.
There’s a possibility that your intentions could be viewed rather harshly and the police may become involved. And I don’t mean the musical group The Police although, ironically, they wrote a little ditty with lyrics like:
“Every breath you take / Every move you make / Every bond you break / Every step you take / I’ll be watching you”
