I’m so sick of going to a movie rated 14A/R and sitting around a bunch of children who are with their parents. Parents, act responsibly and leave your children at home. There is a reason these ratings are in place – because the material is inappropriate for children. Can you not just have an adult outing and find an effing babysitter?

Are the kids loud and obnoxious, or physically disturbing you in any way (ie. standing up in the seat and blocking your way, or throwing popcorn or other shit at you)? If so, I’m with you on that one. If NOT, why do you give a fuck if they’re watching inappropriate material? They’re not YOUR concern! Maybe some parents can’t afford to go out AND get a babysitter at the same time, or maybe their regular babysitter wasn;t available that night…. it doesn’t even matter, mind your own business!
Agreed. I hate when people baby their kids too much, the violence of a movie is only relevant to how the parents raise their kids.
My parents brought me to R rated movies when i was a kid. they never censored me and I think I’m all the better for it.14A means kids can go with adults — it doesn’t BAN them. I’m not sure about R rated movies now, but when I was growing up in the 80s/90s kids could go to those movies with their parents. Unless said kids are being obnoxious, like Davina mentioned stfu already!
