Lazy Smokers

Smokers are militant? Apply the same draconian laws against any other group and you get the same result. Ban fat people from food buffets, nothing more disgusting then seeing a morbidly obese family waddling up for the 4th helping at an all you can eat. Or keep them out of McDonald’s. They should have to eat somewhere else so no one can see. Oh but that would insensitive. Go on pick any group and treat them the way that smokers are treated and see what happens. We have been forced outside, but that just isn’t good enough, now smoking outside is a problem, now its butts on the ground…..anything to treat smoker like they are second class citizens. Militant, personally I don’t think we are militant enough. So fuck all you non smoking self righteous bitchers, If you think outside smoking is a threat to society you need to pull your head out of your ass. You all are so used to getting what you want by whining and vilifying people who are exercising their freedoms of choice, you just don’t know when to fucking quit. Ban it all together and let’s start yet another underground crime ring. Then you will all be fucking crying that taxes are through the roof, because the government will finally cave to your suckass little rants about the evils of tobacco. But I guarantee they are more addicted to the tax revenue, then we are to the nicotine…..

you need to refresh your research, there was a study done just recently in the US state that obesity has become the leading cause of death above smoking. But I understand it is difficult to find a study that has NOT been done from some anti-smoking lobby. You state smokers pull the fat card when making an argument, I wasnt pulling that card from a health stand point I was using it as perspecitive point. Call a fat person fat and your insensitive or cruel…but the consenses today is that non smokers can treat smokers like modern day lepers. In fact some feel obligated to do so. Just leave us the fuck alone. I agree to go and smoke in a bus shelter is rude, some people are assholes, but my point is not everyone who smokes is one. But I would say that in same way smokers pull the fat card, non or anti smokers pull the health care costs card. Listen I pay my fucking taxes, if the Government doest put that tax on my cigs into the health care that is clearly not the fault of smokers now is it? Try google, and look for a study conducted in Sweden that actually shows that “healthy” non fat, non smoking people are actually a greater drain on health care dollars becuase they live longer. The point of my comment was that smokers as a group have been singled out as second class citizens with more restriction placed on freedoms and rights then any other group. Im not against going outside for a smoke, not against it at all. But when the ridiculous becomes the norm its time to take a stand. If youre on the street downtown at rush hour, dont think that because you cant smell cigarette smoke that air youre breathing is clean.
