Why is it that so many sketchy things go down in our city that NEVER get reported…. even in the daily police blotter.

A few days ago I was riding motorcycle on Spring Garden Road and saw a man walking with his shirt covered in blood, blood gushing onto the sidewalk and an open wound (yes, I saw skull) on the back of his head. A police officer was walking a few steps behind him asking him to stop, and he wouldnt. This well dressed (shirt adn tie type with briefcase) guy just kept on walking. Can you say sketch! This was at 5 PM on a thursday. Not a thign in the news about anything….

Then, the next day – I was on my way to my office in fairview and what do I come across by my office but four police cars and two ambulances in an apartment building – sorry, but your typical distress call doesnt warrent two ambulances and a small squadrin of police officers…again not a blip in the news about anything.

How much shiznit goes down here in sketchville that noone knows about? Imagine, how many incidents happen that are signifigant (i.e. man bleeding out on spring garden road) that don’t get reported?

What a sketchy place.

  1. heh, yeah i saw the same guy when i was outside of the oasis having a smoke. i saw him from afar and thought it was a design on his shirt, lol, and as he walked past, like you said, we could see skull. lol. too funny.

  2. Maybe when potentially random violent occurances (or the appearance thereof) happen, the public woudl be more at ease knowing “A man slipped on a banana peel and fell” or “Grandma had a loaded shotgun in her apartment when paramedics arrived to tend to her diabetic attack”. It would be nice to know when somethign potentially dangerous goes down in my neighbourhood – they don’t even need names.

  3. Does it disturb anyone else that Josh found this funny? Not just funny, he actually thought it was ‘lol too funny’.

  4. I might have an opinion if I could understand what was written. Could someone translate this from the ebonics or whatever it is written in?

  5. A guy walking around in a daze with blood gushing onto his suit and an exposed skull is considered a “sketch”? What’s wrong with you?Assume incompetence when you don’t have a clue as to what EMS teams have responded to? Again, what’s wrong with you?Assumption is at the root of most miscommunication. Maybe you didn’t see anything on the news because IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUISNESSGo be useful, OP. And good luck with that

  6. I’ve always wanted to see someone actually slip on a banana peel, skull or no skull, I’d laugh at that.Do you think if they caught tape of Harper slipping on one he’d lose the election? “Conservative moron slips on banana peel, voters laugh and vote liberal”
