All it took was two consecutive days of near fatal bicycle incidents to prompt this, Bitch.

Pulling out from your stop sign into oncoming traffic (moi) on Coburg forcing a cyclist to grind majestically across the pavement to an abrupt, not to mention painful, hault with my smashed helmet resting against your car, which was stopped across the middle of both lanes is totally unacceptable. The guy being a total asshole to me afterward was sorely needed icing on the bruised, bleeding, roadrashed cake.

The second Bitch simply opened his door without looking at his mirror. To think of what could have been simply because this scholar didn’t glance down for a fraction of a second… it’s terrifying.

Please…. PLEASE be aware of the bikes on the road. You’re bigger than us.

…. Bitch

  1. About a week ago I was in Halifax on Oxford St at the North ST intersection. second car back; waiting at a red light and planning to continue on my way to Quinpool Rd. all of a sudden mr cool biker comes up from behind, cuts left in front of me; between cars; across the opposite lane then UP onto the sidewalk. On his merry way he went. Lucky for him, the big bad motorist turning left onto Oxford got on his brakes in time. just. I think you get my point. Not all bikers are like this, nor are all motorists out to get the bikers. Until Halifax catches up with bike lanes; we gotta share the road.

  2. drivers like those in the OP piss me off.bikers like those int he response piss me off, and call it upon themselves to be the biker in the original story (not that i am implying that the OP was doing anything wrong. from what i can tell he/she wasnt).i doubt that much will change in terms of bad bikers, until they’ll realize that in a collision with a bus, it won’t be the bus that will be totaled. but i sympathize with the good bikers, who follow the rules, and *gasp* even signal their turns properly! imagine that?

  3. This Bike vs Car debate goes on and on and on for what seems like forever. It’s easy to report vehicles that commit road crimes against car drivers. But how do drivers report cyclists for violating the road rules too?
