once again, at the commons playground i was about to cross the street, i press the button and the signal goes off. i step to begin to cross. the car parked in front of me, zipped right past me. and then so did two other on coming cars.

Walk with your keys in your hand. When they go through the crosswalk and nearly run you over, drag the key on the car as it zooms past. Wha are they going to do? Sue you in court? They admit their guilt that way and get fined .
Drivers in Halifax are the rudest pricks I ever did see. No regard for anyone but themselves. Halifax authorities don’t give a fuck either; $387.50 fine for killing someone in a crosswalk. People complain about drunk drivers. The sober assholes kill more people in accidents then drunks do. Police should hand out stiffer fines and penalties. Impose a stupid drivers fine or something like that.

My original comment was about drivers here. I was responding specifically to “Halifax drivers are nothing compared to New York or New Delhi drivers.” I addressed this portion of your comments. You may have implied something about pedestrians, but my reply was pointed to the drivers. I do not think you understand the meaning of arguing.
No Clue.. I drive and see this daily and I wonder how they passed the test. They should incorporate an I.Q. test with your driving test. Memorizing the book and regurgitating it during the written test doesn’t mean a person has common sense.
