Let’s Get Baked hosts Dave Ewenson and Mat Dunlap got some well-deserved props at this year’s National Campus and Community Radio Conference in Windsor. Let’s Get Baked, a syndicated vegan baking show on CKDU 88.1FM that features indie bands each week, won the award for best magazine program. Says Ewenson: “When we started Let’s Get Baked we knew it wasn’t going to be easy making all those cakes and smoking all that grass. But with a little help from CKDU we did what Sidney Cosby and Ellen Page couldn’t—we brought the gold back to Halifax.”
