I really get sick of all those whiners who write to the Love the Way We Love column, sighing about “the cute bus driver” or “the sweetie on the ferry” or whatever. But what I really hate is when they say “next time I’ll say hi” or something like that. Just say hi for gods sake! Don’t come home and write about it. Halifax doesn’t need to hear about how many cute people ALMOST got said hi to! —I say hi!

yeah o.p., i agree with some of what you say. chances are that the people you have a love on for, do not read the loves pages at all. if you get all horny and worked up over someone, then fucking say it to thier face. how the hell would i know that you meant me, out of a 100 guys at mic mac mall, standing by such or doing whatever.
