Why do you mock me….sitting there with all your goodies. You tell me you want $1.75 for a Coke. I give you the $1.75 the Coke. I hit the button quickly as I am thirsty and tired of your teasing. What’s that? A new message…. you need another $0.10??? What about the agreement we had for a $1.75? I hit your button to return my coins so that I may bring my business to your competitor sitting beside you in the cafeteria. Apparently this has angered you because you will not allow me to have my money back and flash your “correct change only” button. I run outside to my car to retrieve a dime and upon my return it seems as though you have called off our transaction altogether……. and kept my money????? Are you a government employee? Why does your coin return not work? Why can’t I have my Coke? I’m thirsty and it’s 4:00 am. You have some nerve! You owe me!

  1. Why don’t the coin returns ever work? What’s the point of the button then? This pisses me off too.

  2. It’s all a scheme to make us THINK we’re in control, when really the machines run the world. sort of like that placebo button at cross walks…

  3. Meh it’s just toxic sludge anyway. Might as well smoke if you’re gonna drink this poison!

  4. I’d rather have the mango banana cocktail at a certain breakfast place that is open for dinner or for lunch.

  5. A breakfast place… that is open for dinner… and for lunch.Jammie, can you throw together a theory to explain this paradox? A string theory if you have one, with extra wormholes.MMM…. mango banana cocktail…. Fuck you, coca cola. Fuck you right in the ass.

  6. Fuck you, coca cola. Fuck you right in the assLOL Qwerty, I think I saw something like that on the internet once.

  7. It is a breakfast place. They make breakfast. However, the beings that are able to travel from dimension to dimension in kay’s universe tend to arrive here in Halifax fairly late in the day, and they often hungover from their latest mescaline binge, so they require the breakfast to be served at lunch. Also, we should understand that amongst the working class multidimensional beings, “dinner” being by definition the largest meal of the day, is actually served at what we call lunch time. And therefore the smaller “supper” forms the meal served at the traditional tea time – at 4 or 5. However, amongst the upper-crust multidimensional beings, dinner is served in the evening at about 7 or 8, and the smaller meal is therefore served at mid-day. Thus, lunch, dinner, and supper are in fact all at the same time. Of course, since time is an illusion caused by the apparent (but fully reversible) causality function in the fractal geometry of the quantum gravity field, none of this really matters.

  8. miles i’m a pepsi girl myself outside of the big C’s for breakfast oh my favorite there the mushroom/brie eggs benny

  9. I really love smoothies. I’m also a pepsi girl. I really like eggs benny, too, but not with pespi!*crickets*

  10. Yeah me too. I hate pop. I hate eggs benny, too. What I really hate is South Park. And Lost. Always did.

  11. Yeah, I’m on the Zero too…but can switch ’em up interchangeably. It’s my caffeine delivery system.

  12. Actually, I used to snort Coke through my nose to impress the girls in high school.I’ll let you guess how that worked out.

  13. i can’t believe you hate lost and south park. we had such good times talking about those. maybe we shouldn’t be guardedly friendly frenemies anymore – i just don’t know how this is gong to work out.

  14. OK, I’ll tell you how it worked out. I was asked not to hang around the high school anymore bothering the girls because apparently it’s creepy when a 30-something guy spends his day at the high school snorting pop through his nose.

  15. i thought that was what the cool teachers did? why is ok for them and not for you in your souped up olds cutlass and your trench coat?

  16. Do what I normally do Op, if and when, cause it’s usuallly when those fuckin machines rip you off. Beat the shit outta it until you either get your money back, or get the coke, or are tooooo tired to care any more.

  17. I was just going along with the joke Qwerty”Yeah me too. I hate pop. I hate eggs benny, too. What I really hate is South Park. And Lost. Always did.”

  18. Floyd, aspartame is perfectly safe. I have been drinking it for years, and aside from the headaches, and forgetfulness and occassional seizure, I’m fine. Just because Monsanto owned aspartame and it was rushed through FDA approval without proper testing does not mean it’s going to kill you. That’s just what Big Sugar wants you to believe.

  19. And that’s “Big Sugar” the evil faceless corporation-lobby group, not “Big Sugar” the loveable Canadian bluesy-rocky-reggae band from medicine hat featuring the lyrical stylings of Gordie Johnson. But I hear they don’t like aspartame either.

  20. Time will tell, but I’m betting that eventually the stats around MS, brain cancer and other serious diseases will result in Aspartame being pulled from the market…For my own part, I can’t drink or eat anything that has this chemical, as even one drop feels is like a railway spike through my forehead… And the taste… Gross…

  21. I was going along with the “i’m a christian.” “i was never a christian.” thing… i love south park. i never liked south park. what the eff? i always loved south park.

  22. i knew you were qwert…i guess my own joke seemed like a credulous response rather than a just-for-fun one

  23. Ahhh I see… we need a code, a secret word, or perhaps even an abbreviation, to indicate that our response is a joke, and not a serious comment, when posting online. What’s a good abbreviation for, say… laugh over laugh? Anybody?

  24. just reminded me, i’ve been seeing more and more emails at work peppered with emoticons. in a presumably professional environment. it’s kinda bizarrenext it’ll be text speak in memos”Mtg @ BrdRm Jul 23 0900. C U Nxt Tues!”
