Man what’s up with Halifax bars? They’re going from bad to worse. I saw nothing bust skanks and ho’s downtown the other night. I thought by now, with all the criticism they’d clean up, but for some reason they got dirtier and skankier. I’d never touch anyone down there with a 20ft pole let alone a 10ft one!
And I love how they just grind up on guys regardless of how stinky and unattractive they are. I swear I was standing there and this guy came and stood next to me, he literally smelled like something i’ve never smelled before. I almost puked. There were 2 girls dancing and i swear probably about 5 other different guys tried to dance with them, and they actually looked waaaaay better than that dude, and the girls just completely ignored them and actually asked to be left alone. This stinky, nasty looking guy, who i would never even consider for a recycling plant job, approaches those girls, and they just grind up on him like there’s no tomorrow, regardless of how appalling he was. They didn’t know him because he just moved on to another set of girls and the same thing happened! I thought maybe it was just me. I looked around the entire bar and the same thing was happening, all over. Which really got me wondering why?! Do these girls love just nasty, ugly smelly guys with all kinds of diseases and scars all over their faces? Actually there were mainly grinding up on anyone that resembled a dirty thug. Yes a dirty one, I’ve seen clean ones, but some at that particular establishment was just beyond. and the girls just loved it. Only from them, they were getting the same attention from other guys, but that just wan’t their type? Anyone else finds that these days?! It’s just weird. No-one looked at guys like that a couple of years ago. Last time i was downtown. Last weekend would be last to certain spots anyway! I’m just not a big fan of the clubbing scene in halifax anymore. It’s really dirty and gross. You should have seen the floor on that bar. Broken glass everywhere. terrible, Just terrible!

I know what your talking about and I have a theory. Women want men they can work on. If that means hooking up with a dirty skeezbag asshole then that’s what they (often) do. When girls become women they get sick of the asshole skeezbag then hook up with someone who doesn’t look or act like a douchebag.
its almost as though the OP hasnt seen the people that make todays music. Take that lil wayne guy, he looks like an alien, but the women love that cat. Since they cant have him, they settle for this thug that you are talking about. Really, here is my question, why are you complaining about the chick that goes for that stinky thug? Clearly it shows she has limited taste. If that same chick had gone for you, you would have been at the standard of that same thug. Where you go to dance dictates the quality of women that go to these locations.

I learned a long time ago not to frequent these types of places. I know exactly what to expect if I go in. Therefore, I don’t. Don’t go back and in the future pick an establishment with some class.

its funny, someone that is up with the culture that goes on in here, doesnt like the surrounding and people jump aboard to bash. Now, would this not be as stupid as my black self complaining i went to a country and western bar and the people were wearing tight jeans and big ridiculous hats? Or i went to a goth show and people (male and female) were wearing loads of make up, buckles, chains, and lots and lots of blacks?It is what it is, it will always be like this, i always has been like this, why in rome… (or the palace) do as the romans, (or the palacians)

yeah I agree, it’s all about the venue you choose….but sometimes it’s over the top in unexpected places: exampel I was at a certain two name pub with the intitial P and F….and an irish theme………pub place with beer and couches and a very small dance floor..fairly chill, less-skanky vibe. and then: there’s a girl, on the dance floor, in a skirt so short her ass is almost hanging out when she’s just standing there. and, while dancing with some random guy (who we later saw repeating this act with ANOTHER bar skank), he yanks her skirt up several times so the entire bar can see her teeny tiny little thong…ugg…sometimes skank just sneaks up on you.
