Here’s a tip to make life a little better for our student friends. When you’re at Halifax Shopping Centre and you want to get back home to SMU, take the 14 DOWNTOWN. It always parks on Mumford Road at the end of the terminal when it comes. If the #14 is inside the terminal, displaying 14 LEIBLIN PARK, don’t get on unless you want to go to Spryfield. Since both 14s come to Mumford at similar times, it is important to pay attention.
Now, we’ve all had our moments of not paying attention, so if you notice the bus seems to be going the wrong way, let the driver know. He/she may be able to let you off where you can catch the right bus and save a lot of time. If you stay silent until the bus is sitting on Leiblin Drive, you’ve just wasted an hour of your life. It happens more often than you’d think. Study this well, there’ll be a test on Wednesday. —We Love The Leader

I did this in my first year of university at SMU. Haha. Went to the Shopping Centre, caught the 14 Leiblin to go back to residence… I didn’t know the difference at the time. I was so worried and I was on the bus for an hour still and we finally go to Leiblin Park. It was pitch black and I was still on the bus. The driver seemed annoyed; I think he understood my issue.
