Once a week i go into adept tattoo and piercing and grab the coast. I find it silly, that although they show support for your paper and distribute it for you happily. Not once do you mention anything about the extremely successful convention that adept owner Amber Thorpe put hundreds of hours into planning. 54 artist from all across Canada and the united states were present lucky diamond rich a performer who is featured in guiness world record. roughly 2500 people walked through the front doors of the convention and it was one of the most successful tattoo conventions in Canada. Apparently none of this was even worth a small write up. Glad to see you show interest in your community coast. You disappointed me.

Question? Did Amber Thorpe contact The Coast in advance of the festival to arrange for some media coverage?
Even if Amber did contact The Coast, the writers are very biased. I only say that given multiple bitches here on the subject and personal knowledge of a local musician who informed them of a new release last year but The Coast couldn’t have been bothered. They don’t even support ‘musicians’… just ‘some musicians’, their buddies, no doubt.
i agree it was listed and promoted as well as in “sure things” it was just not a cover story
Also i would like to add is that the coast doesnt always cover events! they didnt cover either of the hair shows which everyone from any other province came down for!
