Maybe don’t park where you’re not suppose to? This problem is completely avoidable and your own fault.
The solution is simple, don’t get impounded. Consider the pocketbook hit a lasting reminder.
Ticket & a tow, $200.
Word of advice, don’t take that attitude to the impound.
if that were the case o.p., then you shouldn’t have been breaking a law, to have it seized. something doesn’t sound right here. drunk driving sounds rights.
OP is right it’s a legal scam of epic porportions ; they can pretty much charge whatever they want and there’s f all you can do about it
How long would they keep the car for? Are they responsible for any damage done to the vehicle when they tow and store it? If so, break in, steal the stereo out of your car, sell it on Kijiji, use the money to pay the fine, and then hold them responsible for the stolen stereo.
