How do I ‘Be friendly to the now’???? If you want to write a relaxing bitch, it probably shouldn’t stress people out to read and comprehend it!
spam spam spam spam, spam spam spam spam, lovely spam! wonderful spa-am!(bloody Vikings!)
Hey b, did you have your oatbran today, shithead?
Someone’s been reading The Secret!
The Secret joins the other self-help gurus who are interested in only one thing, parting buyers from their moola. That it was endorsed by Queen Oprah makes it worse. So, Mr/MissMs Sunshine, blow it out your merry little rectum – this is a Bitch column, not a Serenity Now seminar.
SERENITY NOW!!!Sorry, my tourette’s is acting up again. So is Mortimers’s, apparently… you okay there big guy? Can I get you some Ginger ale?
It’s all very creepy!
I’m a lumberjack, and I’m okay,Please don’t call me Ginger, qwerty, hey?
I wasn’t calling you Ginger, I was making a Ginger reference. I dodn’t mean anything by it. Sheesh, people are sensitive today. I’m going to go sulk somewhere for a bit. Later.
No-no, qwerty, you missed my point: you have to sing my reply to your post. I was making a pun.No, not a pun, what’s that thing that spells the same backwards as forwards?A palindrome? The palindrome of…wait a tic, I’ve already done this bit.Sorry, gang. I figured everybody could use a bit of silliness in their day.
He skipped his meds today. Someone needs to be binary bitch-slapped back into reality. Hollasnap!
Oh OK… I guess I need to brush up on my Monty Python.
A cattle prod might work quite nicely.
Qwerty: You said a mouthful. And that’s the tooth. When is the best time to schedule a dentist appointment? Tooth-hurty. I know, my puns really bite.
My teeth really do hurt 🙁 a little sensitive from the crest white strips…*sigh*
Those hurt my teeth, too, catlady. Especially the bottoms.
I’m only using them on the bottom.. Seems those are the only ones that stain 🙁 (sad face is for the stains, not the fact that my top teeth dont match, lol)But yeah.. ow.. not good times..
Actually this bitch has merit. Some work areas are considered “high stress” not necessarily due to the nature of the work but the people running those areas. I say relax and think about the situation carefully before you come running to me to “fix” a non-existent problem. I’m with you b….
Ernie is absolutely right. I work in a small office with four other people, two of whom produce a lot of noise (in their own unique ways). It is an extremely high-stress area, most of the time, but only rarely because of the work itself. Anybody have any suggestions how to keep co-workers from being a major distraction (keeping in mind we all sit within fifteen feet of one another)?
direct them to LTWWB to vent?
I think it comes with practice mortimer. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m able to “tune out” office noises, gab sessions in the next cubicle etc. It’s really difficult at times though. Sometimes when people are trying to get me involved in a work related issue when it’s really not my area, I just excuse myself and go for a walk to the bathroom / water cooler. It can be effective…:)
