Can someone please tell me why every employee of Walmart is so fucking retarted? From electronics, to cashiers, and even the ones who attend to the dressing rooms..especially them, standing there with the other sloppy attendant, bitching about thier jobs, and gossiping for all to hear. Yeah, we get that you hate your job. You hate working for Walmart just as much as customers hate seeing you act so blatantly unprofessional. If you dislike your job that much, find a new one! I can’t stand paying for my shit and having some weirdo tell me her life story.
ATTENTION WALMART CASHIERS: When i ask how you are, it isn’t because i actually give a shit. I don’t want to hear that you’re “terrible because it’s so damn busy” or that you’re “tired and want to go home”. Learn some proper ettiquite and smile and say you’re great. It’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE. Either suck it up and do your job, or get your ass out of dealing with the public on the daily, because you really fucking SUCK AT IT.
(Oh, and try showering before you leave the house..i could fry an egg on that grease mop of yours!)

It’s because it’s is a soul-sucking company. The employees are just the Zombie shells of random shoppers who couldn’t find the exit so the managers just went and stuck a blue smock on them.
Why ask then? Why not just say hi and be done with it? When i used to work retail, we got that customers felt we were their minions.However, what gets me is, you go into WallyWorld, and the attitude of some of the staff. I can handle a tired, whiny cashier who complains. What i hate are the rude ones. They slam your shit around, and God help if you have a return! You’re treated like the biggest scammer ever.
I work at a call center and I absolutely hate it when customers starts the conversation off by saying “Hi there, how area you-I want blah blah blah blah.” Why insert the “how are you” if you don’t want me to answer. And when I am able to answer, I always answer with the obligatory “I’m good, and how are you.”Don’t ask if you don’t want an answer!
All retail jobs suck. The level of suckiness depends on the company. Walmart is a raging 10 on that scale. However, that being said, customers have to take a certain amount of responsibility for these attitudes. Can you imagine having to please people who can’t be pleased and having to do it with a smile plastered on your face? Some people treat retail store workers like shit on their shoe, making unreasonable demands and just being plain nasty when they can’t get what they want. I watched one woman argue her ass off over an expired coupon with a young cashier who looked like she wanted to burst into tears. I never wanted to punch someone so much in my life. A retail life certainly isn’t an easy one.

Sorry to go off topic, but Cranky, what is “Pabst Blue Ribbon”?I heard somewhere once that Wal-Mart officially has the lowest quality control standards of any major retailer. Shocking, I know.
Its not just Walmart employess by a long shot, customer service just about anywhere you go these days is pathetic weather it be Retail , Fast Food , Restaurants etc…Alot of the time its just young kids who don’t care about cutomer service or it’s someone a little older who feels they don’t get paid enough to care .You always hear the same sob stories.People think they should get a job and automatically get paid the ” big Bucks ” they forget that maybe you might have to work your way up to get the Big bucks .Alot of people these days have the mentality that everybody owes them something , they are affraid to get their hands dirty and work for it.Probably not much we can do about it except complain about it in places like these.

Yeah, Wal-mart is a soul-sucking company…it sucks the souls right out of the employees…or should I say collegues as they call them now. Way to try and equalize….piece of shit company. Sure, a lot of the employees are uneducated (not retarded), but who are you to judge…you don’t know their life story. so FUCK OFF. I’m still young, but I’ve worked in retail for 4.5 years and we have to put up with A LOT of shitty, snobby attitudes from a lot of customers. Try dealing with that day in and day out. How about the customers come in with good attitudes and you’ll get one back. Infact, the other day a collegue of mine accidently charged the wrong price for an item (not a big deal, people make mistakes) so, my collegue who is younger asked me for help. So, I simply tell the woman she has to go to customer service to get her refund and she goes apeshit saying to give her money back NOW and I try explaining to her that I can’t just giver her, her money back…so I call down to customer service to ask if I can refund at my cash (which I already know I can’t…just trying to make the bitch happy) and they saw no…so I told my collegue to give the woman her money and she grabs it and storms off saying that there is something seriously wrong with the company policies and how we treat customers…get a fucking life woman. I shouldn’t have to deal with cranky fucking customers just because they’ve had a bad day…that is not MY JOB. Go see a fucking shrink.
also, I get annoyed when customers ask how I am…don’t fucking ask because I know you really don’t give a shit. And by asking the cranky customers at wal-mart just gives them a chance to rank about how much they hate their life. DON’T ASK!
