I would like to take a moment to thank all psychologists and psychiatrists out there for prescribeing teenagers with a dosage of acutane for their acne and hallucigens for sleep/mood stabilatation/depression without your kind hearts we would have never lived in mental asylums, been unable to find good jobs and never reach university. Most of all i thank you for your quaterly followups where if i tell you i hear voices i risk reentry into the hospital. Whereas to obtain a drivers liscence i must acknoledge hearing a forced whisper. Do i hear voices… i think therefore i am. And as for all of you other doctors second guessing my motives shit;… i even know the patent date of your prized thought recorder. May you all sleep less and avoid the mental health professionals and instead of paying for medication;… prosper.

Wow, maybe you had a shitty experience with psychologists and/or psychiatrists but Matt is right; psychologists don’t prescribe drugs and psychiatrists don’t dole out Acutane. For all the horror stories that have arisen from these fields (Dr. Cameron, Montreal, etc.), there have been many great advancements that do help a lot of people. I guess you just need to find a doctor that’s willing to take the time to find what works best for you as frusterating as it may be. Good luck!
I took St. John’s Wort for my insomnia . St. John’s Wort is also very good for depression. I took it sparingly (only whenever I can not sleep). Sometimes I took it every night for a week, sometimes I take it once a month. I took it right before I went to bed. It is available, among other places, at THE HEALTHY BUG (across Joseph Howe’s Atlantic Superstore). They may try to make you get another remedy there, since St. John’s Wort cost the most, 22$/ 100 ml. They are very helpful, but let them know that what you need is the FLORA brand of St. John’s Wort, and nothing else! Only take it when you are ready to go to bed. I have always taken it after I have brushed my teeth. I always sleep soundly 15 to 30 mins after taking it. Of course, what works for me may not work for other people. Helping others and make the best of our days help ease depressions as well. Good Luck!
Hey here’s a formula for a GREAT sleep…1 Gravol + 1 Beer (or as much of it as you can get through, I never made it 12 way) = One hell of a good nights sleep! (Suggestion not to be taken seriously, though honestly it really did work for me)I also suggest that if you are hearing voices and think you know the patent date on some “Though Recorder” you keep taking those pills…or invest in the company that has created this device or at least let all of us know so we can invest…because that company is going to make a LOT of $$.
