It is obvious that you have a low opinion of the people you are serving if you don’t think they realize when you are speaking down to them through your not so subtle rude comments. Get over yourself, you are a waitress. We were nothing but polite to you, even after your rudeness was becoming apparent. I now think that we were too polite, hence this bitch. I don’t know what your problem was or is, but you have to get a grip on reality and realize your position. Customers order food and you bring it, save your opinions and learn to keep your mouth shut. The food at your restaurant is average at best and If you are an accurate reflection of the service then I have no idea why anybody would want to eat there when there are so many good restaurants in this town.

From what I’ve noticed, it depends on wether or not the company in question advertises in The Coast. Thats why I laugh at the people who try to say that The Coast is the only “Free speach” paper left in the city. Open your eyes sheep!

The offending scenario wasn’t even described, so what makes you jump to the conclusion that publishing the name of the establishment is even justified? to answer the opener’s question…YES, one may be charged for Slander if one goes about naming certain people, business , corporations,etc…but if it is based on truths and proven by enough facts,that’s not slander, that’s public opinion.eg. if you call xxx a liar, or a crook, or a swindler.and xxx actually owed you money and never paid you after billing him for 5 times already. you can call him a swindler.but if xxx has a good lawyer, you could be charged for slander.voila, the system sucks, i know.
