Can someone please explain to me how it makes sense to drive with your dog on your lap? Does that not just seem a LITTLE bit dangerous? It’s up there with cellphones, eating, etc. But I think even worse ..

It’s because these idiots don’t care about their animals. They are either oblivious or too stupid to realize that their dogs can get killed in an accident. Cops should ticket these morons.
LeighAnne – This is not an animal safety issue, its a road safety issue. We’ll all read about a bad accident that involves the death or serious injury of innocent road users caused by some idiot’s dog taking a fit while on the driver’s lap, causing the vehicle to cross lanes or fail to see the stopped car ahead. Its just a matter of time.My primary concern would be for the human lives that could be affected by the decisions by these lap-dog drivers, not the pooch itself.
oh you know! they wannabee like those parisiennes with their poodles that shit all over paris- france, and when asked why they don’t pick up their dog shit , “oh, we have street workers to do that for us!” .hope their dog shit on their dresses . only thing i fear is that these idiots might kill some innocent children or pedestrains.”bien sur, we have undertakers to take care of that too!”
My dog is huge and tries to sit in the front – simple solution – get a harness that keeps the dog in the back seat using the seat belt. That is what we do – it’ll save him if we get in an accident – and he still can move a bit and get petted…without being in the driver/passenger seat.
