Since when is it a crime to eat free vegitarian food? Since when is it a crime to work towards a world free of war and poverty? Those folks who have recently been condemed in another local paper for massive abuses of power in 2007, yes I’m talking about those fascist thugs…I mean the Halifax police,(I believe it was a year that saw triple the amount of complaint) seem to think that eating at Food not bombs is a crime. The true crime is seeing the Halifax regional police profile citizens of halifax who take a stance against war and poverty by eating free vegitarian food. Halifax fnb has seen alot and has overcome alot in its 10 years of existence. The cops attempt to criminalize us for serving free food will fail. It is not a crime to serve and eat free food in public areas. We will not stop serving and we will not be intimadated. If they really do fight crime, Then stop polluting the air and our servings with you idleing paddy wagon and attempt to intimedate us and go investigate all the murders that have happened this year or maybe you could ivestigate corperate crime that is so pervasive in our capitalist society. Whatever you do, please do not waste my tax dollars by sitting on your ass’ while idleing you van and trying to intimidate me and my friends. you are not welcome at our servings!!Go away!!!

Ya I’d actually like to read about what happened or if someone could enlighten us about what happened. I personally see Police doing something like that. An officer once swore at my gf, insulted her and threatened her after giving her a ticket. That was in downtown halifax on a friday morning, around 11am or something like that.
