To the twit that wrote “Angry Halifax???” Have you travelled at all? I have lived all over the world, and I have got to tell you that the people of Halifax have to be some of the friendliest people that I have ever had the privilege to meet.
Maybe You! Should lay off on the F off pills and get out and see the word.

So then GTBB, do you consider yourself then to be a friendly spokesperson toiling on behalf of defending the friendliest people you have ever met? It seems so. Perhaps then you shouldnt have opened your commentary by referring to the writer of ‘Angry Halifax’ as a ‘twit’, because it doesnt make you seem very..oh, I dunno…friendly! And oddly enough, you seem a tad…angry! One would think that living in such a wonderful place full of such wonderful people, it might have tempered some of your aggression! ‘Angry Halifax’ might have a different opinion to you, but I’m willing to bet there are plenty of people who would, including Haligonians. I’m one of them, and I’ve been ‘getting out and seeing the world’ as you so recommend, for about 10 years now. I now live in a foreign country and am happy to say I’ll never live in Halifax again. I think that as a whole, Haligonians present themselves to be whiniest, phoniest, most pretentious, most provincial (STILL bitching about Sunday shopping!!), unsatisfied population I have ever experienced. Do you really think the people of Halifax are the friendliest people on earth?? Where have you travelled??
