To the cunt who stole my bike off the stairs of a bike shop I briefly visited: Back in July I brought my bike to the top of the stairs of a bike shop I visit and buy my parts from. While I was inside you decided it’s your bike now. Ever penny I worked MY arse off for went into my bike. About $2000 dollars I put into it. Yeah Halifax my bike… I’m sorry…was worth more then your cars. Why? Because that’s what I like just like you like you’re expensive ATV’s, performance car parts etc. But that’s beside the point. I’m speaking to the one type of asshole who steals from people who work hard for their earnings because you feel entitled to whatever the fuck you want. I hope you pedal full blast into the Quinpool intersection and then realised I have no breaks which I removed the night before. Oh and I bet you thought you were slick when you sold it for $50 bucks Even though it was worth about $1500.

Man I feel for you and your lost bike but seriously…$2K for a bike and you couldn’t pick up a bike lock?!?!?!? Would you leave a bundle of 2 thousand dollars in cash laying around? You were in a store that you say you frequent fairly often…don’t they sell bike locks a the bike shop? Sucks that your bike was stolen…but there is only one person to blame, yourself.

I’m sorry, but I can’t feel sorry for you…BIKE LOCK!!! Yeah it sucks but you know what us drivers lock our cars, because some of us have paid hard earned money to have our cars+insurance+gas+maintenance…plus cars are worth more than your dinky bike…if it meant all that much to you, you would have locked it…and also one other thing..cyclists are idiots…stay on the side walk and use common sense…friendly reminder:)
the sidewalk you must be kidding, Bicyclist should keep right when on the road. If he didn’t lock his bike and left in on his porch thats kinda dumb, and yes it would be nice if we didn’t have to lock our cars or bikes guard our purses/wallets hide our ipods, be able to walk across the commons at night without worrying about garbage trying to beat us up or steal our shit but unfortunately thats not going to happen. I know having stuff stolen sucks and I have had one of my bikes stolen a long time ago but it was FOUND by my neighbor who spotted someone riding it and kicked the little piece of trash off of it. But I have had two ipods stolen one at QEH and one at Citadel High School, the second one I closely guarded and kept hidden but those dirty little cocksuckers still got my ipod. Obviously your bike was special and all customized the way you liked it and it was uniquely you. It must have really sucked But yes you should have locked it up good. I always lock my bicycle when taking it to school or the store or to a friends or anything.
