Remarks: Other than two four-source bins at the park entrances, it’s nothing but oil-drum style garbage bins inside PPP. Laaaame! Nature, parks, recycling…seems like a natural fit, no? “We feel that is a good balance of cost,” says Phelean, noting that source separation is expensive and that “responsible park users” know to carry their recyclables to the entrance. As for lazier eco-freaks, sorry—Phelan says it’s never been brought up before as a concern. Come on, Southies; get eco-pissed!
