  1. Okay Cranky, hold on. What gives you the right to disrespect someone due to their size? Does it give you some kind of satisfaction? That comment was completely uncalled for. In fact, I have been biting my tongue for the past couple of months on this board. If an individual is upset with someone else, they automatically call them “fat and disgusting” or something along those lines. Well, it is a physical fact that some people are larger than others, but it is not okay to criticize someone because of it. Yes, we all make our choices in life, but I am so sick and tired of everyone picking on fat people. How would you like to be scared to leave your house in fear someone would say something to you or look at you the wrong way? How would you like to be publically made fun of? Aren’t fat people people too? Don’t they desere the right to be treated with respect? As far as your post, Student of Hypocrates, it is very noble of you to apologise to this woman, I commend you. However, did you really need to say she was a “larger woman”? If she was smaller and more petite, would you have been more likely to help her? If not, then how did this add to your story? To everyone out there, just remember that words hurt. Whether it is racism, classism, or sizeism it is still discrimination.

  2. See last weeks bitch about Preggo’s parking space calamity.I didn’t mean it the way it was heard. Good points though.

  3. Sizeism? Oh, give me a fucking break. Why should I respect anyone who hasn’t got self-control? Yes, that’s right, 90% of those waddlers out there are undisciplined orally fixated lazy shits who won’t get off their huge fat asses unless it’s a trip to the fucking fridge. I am a former fatty that smartened up and lost the weight through diet and exercise. At least I know I won’t be burdening the health care system.

  4. Wow..nobody seems to want to comment on the original bitch. Student of Hippocrates, you are NOT to be commended for writing this post in my opinion. If you had done something to help then yes, but you and who knows how many others didnt. I have some light first aid training, and i consider it a duty not a favor to help someone. As for terms such as larger, haunches, and such, that goes to show me that you are not someone who is suited to being a volunteer firefighter. ANYONE who needs help is important, not just who you think is socially acceptable
