Remarks: Nobody wants to live beside a gooey fire hydrant. You probably wouldn’t want to live beside a gooey anything (think about it.) But a gooey hydrant seems particularly poor and potentially unsafe. An unidentified Water Commission employee said he would send a truck out to check on the problem—and, as we all know, trucks and goo are natural enemies. We’ll be watching.

Just wanted the person who wrote this to know I still use the term ‘Investigoo’ in the distant future, 2025
