An old boss of mine once noted:The more perfume someone wears, the worse their personal cleanliness. I’m not allergic but I hate the smell of perfume – if you bath with soap, you’ll smell a hell of a lot better than dousing yourself with industrial strength scents.And you know where this shit turns up the most? In government buildings with ‘No Scent’ policies.
I have allergies to scented products like Axe, Tag, or whatever its name may be, and it does reflect the fact that the user is either too cheap to buy a good soap or too lazy to take a bath. Maybe our bus drivers here in HRM should follow the example of the fellow in Calgary who kicked a stinkbomb off his bus because she wore too much of the chemical stuff. Thumbs up to him! Thumbs down to the crybaby who went to the media with her “dilemma”, sniffling and boo-hooing, and then sprayed herself with the obnoxious stuff! She definitely deserved the boot. If I was driving the bus that day, I would have done the same thing!
