Apparently YES, it is that hard because I see this kind of crap daily on the road here in beautiful downtown Hfx.
I hate the bastards who block intersections. It’s illegal, you buttheads, other than the fact that you are blocking the flow of traffic.And you wanna know something? Not one of those pricks will ever look at you – I guess they figure if they look, they’d have to acknowledge their own stupidity.
I wish we could have all drivers tested every 5 years or so. I would gladly pay the fee to be tested that often myself, to prove my ability to drive. Sure, lots of people can “fake” their way through a road test and then still choose to be reckless afterwards on the street, but maybe it would eliminate the absolute, total dumbasses out there who have no clue. And no offence to that chunk of senior citizens who are a danger behind the wheel, but there are enough of you out there to scare me to death. And I don’t scare easily. I must’ve seen half a dozen this week alone who were either driving into oncoming traffic, or gone through a stop sign, or stopped at a green light looking asleep, minimal use of signals, drifting between lanes oblivious to the world, etc. GRRRRRRRR!!! No wonder most of us have such rage. I don’t let my anger affect my driving, but it would be funny to have a blood pressure monitor in the car for those times.
And…-accelerate to highway speed when on an on-ramp. -don’t start braking until on the off-ramp-acknowledge the person who just let you in, don’t take it for granted, so they’re more inclined to do it again.-hang up the phone and drive-signal when you’re about to change lanes-signal when you’re about to pull over-signal when you’re about to turn a corner

And you dumbasses in the right hand lane, either let them merge or pull out to the left and let them in and then go back into the right hand lane.Ever wonder why they put all those big “WRONG WAY” signs up? Because so many seniors were going the wrong way. Ever stop to think that if everyone’s going one way, and you’re going the other, then most likely you’re going the wrong way????????
The DSU’s liquor license simply does not allow them to open the bar to non-students. The license covers only students, faculty alumni & guests – and any attempt by the DSU or the University to get the license changed meets with rather vehement protests from half the bars downtown. This isn’t the DSU being unreasonable, they simply are not allowed to serve alcohol to non-students or they could lose their license entirely. And events like that are watched fairly closely by the liquor inspectors. I’m not saying it doesn’t suck, I’m just explaining the reasons. Now you know.

This is what makes me mad. People who DON”T know how to drive. Just like these things stated above are real problems when driving. Things that piss me off are those who drive too slow and your ona highway, people don’t use signal lights when changing into another lane and those who think talking on their cell phone is more important than watching where your going.I was on the 102 headng towards bayers lake and the people yeilding to the on coming traffic was too busy talking on their phone to realize I couldn’t move over to let them in. There was ppl passing me at the same time and almost hit me. Thinking I had the room to let them in. To MANY people that do this… put down the fucking phone, use your mirrors. Watch and driving safely there’s other people on the road too.
Most of the above is correct with the exception of ramp Bullies. Sometimes I can’t pull to the left due to CARS beside me. You have a yield sign!!! I shouldn’t have to slow down for you, YOU have to wait for ME dipshit!!!
just a bit of road rage eh?, why don’t y’all park your cars and take the bus!!!! it’s not bad enough that someone is stupid ,then you add someone who is trying to deal with that…you guys are just as bad….and by the way, don’t blow your horns, it freaks out the pedestrians!
Damn Straight Hommie. Bus life might be a bit slow, but aint no road rage up in here.
I live too far outside the city for bus access, but would enjoy the option if it was there somedays, in particular to allow the occasional night out to drink. Also shift work that ends past midnight is shitty with no bus service then, so a car is the only affordable way.
