Equal Opportunity Yelling
So I’m at a small acoustic show a while back and I hear someone talking their gums off right behind me. I know we both paid cover, but let’s be honest here, it was a Tuesday night, people were there to see the show. But my bitch isn’t that he was talking

Yes but…isn’t everything against anyone who isn’t a straight, white male discrimination today? It makes a white male (or female in a lot of cases as well) scared to say anything to anyone for fear that it be misinterpreted as racism, harrassment or just plain inappropriate. Not to say that those things don’t happen..but not with the frequency some people like to pretend that it does.
Absoltely. Being gay is not being disabled and there’s no reason to act any differently. People who shot you the looks should realize how idiotic they were.Last time I looked gay just meant how someone likes to spend time in the sack, Nothing more.
I’m gay and I have no problem telling anyone, gay or straight or bi or whatever, to shut the fuck up when they’re flapping their gums somewhere they shouldn’t. It doesn’t matter whether we’re at the cinema, the concert hall, or at an acoustic set. And if I get “that look” (and yes, I get it) I cheerfully add, “Queen, don’t give me that look. Just shut the fuck up.”
I can’t tell black people to ‘fuck off’ or else I’m being racist; EVEN when they’re giving me bad looks, shitty remarks etc.
