Good job Sackville cop!!! You deserve a raise. I wish more people would smash the face of today’s youth on car hoods, sidewalks…whatever is around. The courts aren’t doing anything about the escalating youth crime in our city, so I applaud anyone who does their part to show these delinquents that they aren’t exempt from the laws of our society. Given the option to pursue the youth or the adult in this situation, I believe the right choice was made. If the youth is five years younger than the adult, odds are the little shithead will be around five years longer being a plague on society. Therefore, I thank you officer. Now if we can just get people like you to work in the downtown area, I may one day feel safe in my own city at night.
Where were you when your child was being handcuffed? What time of day was it? Why don’t you become a police officer, if you don’t think this one was doing a good job? Do you think it is an easy job? What was your kid doing to get hand-cuffed. I used to live in Sackville, the police are only doing there job. YOU MIGHT TO TRY DOING YOURS BEING A PARNET!!!!
If your son’s face was smashed…he DESERVED it. My husband is RCMP and goes above and beyond for today’s youth, but always to no avail. Good for Sackville!!! Kids (up to the age of 18) have zero respect for anyone including you, dad and mom. More of their faces should be smashed and asses kicked right into youth facilities since obviously most of the population can’t control their children!!!

Couldn’t agree more. You should be applauding the police officer who handcuffed your kid, maybe now YOUR child will learn a little common decency and respect for others, a lesson he obviously didn’t learn from you, the PARENT. Seriously, with an attitude like yours, no wonder youth crime is on the rise. Kids think that no authority figure can touch them and you are one of the parents that push that attitude. If you aren’t willing to dicipline your child, well then step aside and let someone else.
I live in Ohio (unfortunately) and our cops do fine busting the kids for underage drinking but they always let the bar owners and the permissive parents who let their kids have parties go free. This is really fucked up!!!

I’d have to say, no, not exactly “good for the cop”. If the cop really did smash the kid’s face into the hood of a car, the cop probably wasn’t doing his job right. Cops are trained so that they can subdue others with a minimum of damage. “Smashing his face into the hood of a car” does not sound minimal to me.Other than that, yeah, kids who do crime deserve to get caught, and to do time.Also, I agree that parents need to do more parenting these days. Sometimes it isn’t the fault of the parent, though. Sometimes kids just do bad shit.
