Would you like some cheese with that whine?
To the whiny, rude, condescending assholes who threatened to report the promoters of the Corb Lund show to the Better Business Bureau for not giving them a discount on their cover charge, here is what I’d expect the response to be: “Fuck off, no one care

I haven’t myself had problems with luggage but I do have many friends who have. One friend recommended that if luggage is lost to claim there is important medication needed within 24hrs inside one of the bags. Apparently it worked for her!
What are smurf balls?
I know if all my families luggage was lost, the very first thing I would do is buy a brand new pair of >$50, pair of shoes.
Depending on what kind of credit card you used to book your ticket, you may have travel insurance under that which may give you some cash towards your purchases. It’s worth checking out.
I know who you are B A M! I know your husband left town. I know I know hahhahaha
Air Canada is the number one worst airline ever. They have lost my luggage countless times. They are impossible to deal with if anything goes wrong…prime example – My father was travelling from NB to BC. Gets to the airport and they tell him he has no ticket…he insists that he does and he was charged on his VISA for it, he has a confirmation number…they still tell him that NO he has no ticket. After arguing with them he finally leaves, goes back to his office and they somehow manage to get him another flight which has to be in executive class since they have nothing else available…so on starts to real battle…he returns from his trip and tries to contact air canada…apparently you can’t speak to a real person about this sort of complaint, all you can do is write letters…long story short, he argues and writes letters for a whole year and they finally graciously agree to honor his flights. No he cannot have his money back, he can only take the flights. He was also warned that this was a one time occurence and if this ever happened again, then he could not expect the same recourse. RIIIGHT…considering it was Air Canada’s fault and they treat him like he’s a fucking scam artist…not to mention at the time he was a frequent flyer with Air Canada averaging 75 flights a year! needless to say he now avoids AC if at all possible.
Yep, Air Canada left me stranded in Costa Rica for 5 days without any luggage. They didn’t even tell me till they gave me my luggage that I could have spent $50. Not that $50 buys you ANYTHING, even in Costa Rica. They don’t even have an office in CR, and there was never ever anyone at the phone number they gave me. Fuck them having such a monopoly over international flights.
In 2004, Air Canada did lose my luggage in TO when I was on my way down to Pennsylvania. It was a full 24hours before my luggage arrived. I submitted receipts for a few things i had to pick up as I had an interview the next day, I was told that they would cover up to $100 for things purchased and they did. Maybe the policies have changed since then, but I have to say that they were pretty easy to deal with (other than losing the luggage in the first place)
We quit using Air Canada 10 years ago and have never gone back. They suck. They are the worst airline I’ve ever used. If I have to travel across Canada I’ll go through the US. The worst part is their arrogance. FUCK Air Canada.
