I just wanted to send a huge thank you out to a local pair of folks working in tandem with a large, global oganization, to develop the international recognition of video gaming as a sport. I was contracted to develop a website for this global tournament

If I understand you correctly, you believed that this unnamed company would pay for said work? The fact that you didn’t name the company, tournament and work specifics leads me to think you have played too many fantasy games and slipped over the edge. Real contract, real work, real money or a real lawyer. Things promised over the net are like ships that pass in the night.
