this just goes to show that you as a consumer are not respected and your health and well-being is not a concern to the retailer and the chicken is not cared about or respected by you, do you know where chickens come from?, are you concerned about your health?, do you think about the life of the chicken before it was packaged and put on the shelf?, the expiry date is the least of concerns, you are right about one thing though, ‘As a consumer you really do have to be careful, with everything…’, a question for you ‘chicken consumer’ do you give thanks? this is the dead flesh of a animal that had feelings like you and me, i assume you have feelings, i hope you can think about the conditions in which animals are raised for consumption and feel enough for them to not partake in such a horrible indusrty, perhaps you could try eating plant food, it’s safer and healthier and better for the environment and the future generations who may or may not inhabit this planet, it’s up to us and the decisions we make today in our daily lives, try some-things new, don’t be chicken
