To the editor,
Kimber’s telling of Mr. Sparks’ story just serves to remind us all that racism is still very present, not only in our school boardrooms but throughout our community. I think we need to pay heed by taking responsibility for examining how our own “seemingly innocuous” actions and assumptions may be perpetuating hurt, isolation and division.
